God’s Reward System

One of the rules that have become famous even to non-Christians is this

You reap what you sow

However, the ironic thing is that even though this principle is widely known around the world, most Christians do not take this into considerations. Instead, they tend to outgrow the calculative spirit. The spirit that demands something in return. The spirit which epicenter is on me, myself and I. How ironic …

In the Bible, it is clearly stated in Job 4:8 as the following:

As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it.

The way God works perhaps can be described as this.

1. God prepares the blessings
2. God tells you to go get the blessings for yourself

And there is no number 3.

It is like God saying, “It is up to you whether you want to get My blessings or not

Most people fail to see and understand this fact. It is a common issue that people love and tend to believe in what their eye see instead of what cannot be seen.

People can say that it is risky.
People can say that it takes an enormous amount of courage that they lack of.
People can say that it requires lots of preparations and money.
And the reason list keeps going on and on and on.

There are various examples of this case mentioned in the Bible, some are simple, some are a bit complex.
The simplest one might be the case of Adam which is told by God to give names to each animal.
And do you know what his reward is while he is sleeping? Yes, he is given a wife, the second person living on planet earth.

Meanwhile, in Joshua 14:6-15, there is this interesting case of Caleb.

45 years ago Caleb was sent as a spy along with Joshua the son of Nun to gather information of the Promised Land, and he returned with great news because of his faith.

Hence, God -through Moses- promises to Caleb that the land on which his feet have trodden shall be his inheritance, and your son’s forever.

After 45 years, he got his reward which is a city called Hebron which is occupied by giants — which is easily driven out since God is with him.

And all of this is simply because Caleb has fully followed God.

You spy and you get a city for you and your sons’ forever … is just a weird and illogical rule.

God is often giving too much for little things we do.
No. Let me restate this.

God is ALWAYS giving too much for little things that we do.

Now, God tells you to go get the blessings for yourself.

Are you going to get it?

Kind regard,

You Reap What You Sow
