Please Understand Me

K: Ron, you like S right? Just admit it.
L: Yes, just be a man laa..
M: *smiles*

It was a situation where I have no idea what they are talking about. Well, for starter, I do know S.. but how they reach the conclusion that I love S is just beyond me.
I was just speechless, not that I feel ashamed, but the thing is whatever I say wont change what they accuse me of. It is just at that moment, when my best friend suddenly said this. Listen..

D: No. I dont think so. I know Ron. He wont do (liking S) such thing.

Do you know what I feel hearing her response?
It just soothes me.. it makes me very very very happy.
It cannot be expressed, just like the Emperor in the Hero movie (starred by Jet Li) hearing that Broken Sword, the person who tried to kill him, is actually the person who understands him the most.. his dream, his goal, his burden, … all things!!

——————————————

Mostly, people are just hard to see the bigger picture.
They tend to wanting others to understand them, but little do they try to understand others.

Listen to what Matthew 7:12 states:
“Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (NKJV, emphasized mine)

If one never (at least trying to) understand others, they will find ones to understand him hardly.

It is actually just simple.

Then, how to start understanding others?
You can always start to understand the One and only One Lord.
You can always start to understand His feelings.
His joy watching His sons doing great things with the least.
His sadness watching people doing bad things that are against His will.

There is this dad.
He has a son.
One day, his son comes to him, bringing his truck toy to him, saying
“Dad, fix this”
Some might not understand this, before becoming parents.
But for a parent to get a request like that from his son, it is sooooooo prideful, joyful, something like “WOW! My son counts on me” feeling.

It is just the same.
If you understand God’s nature.. you can come to Him with faith, saying
“Dad, fix this” or
“Dad, fix my life” or
“Dad, fix this problem” or
whatever sayings with faith and belief that He is ABLE!!

Understanding.. it is hard to do, yet so simple.

Now…
Are you ready to be UNDERSTOOD?

God bless you.

Best regard,
Ronny
